To prepare for the LLM&A One Year Practice Enhancement Program the consultant will assess the current, previous quarter and previous year practice statistics. These figures enable the consultant to determine the practice's current strengths and weaknesses. The consultation will be custom designed to achieve each client's goal.
We realize that no two practices are alike, therefore we will provide each practice with informative staff and doctor questionnaires that enable the consultant to "take the pulse" of interoffice dynamics. The staff is the practice's greatest asset and their input is essential to the success of the consultation service.
Miles & Associates goals are to increase the practice productivity by 30% to 50%, to improve the practice's communication, reduce daily stress by creating a healthy, happy work environment and empower each doctor and staff to deliver quality dentistry in an exceptional practice setting.
Our One Year Practice Enhancement Program begins with an on-site observation period during which the consultant will evaluate daily operations of the practice. Patients are scheduled as usual so the consultant can observe the systems that are currently being used. During the morning of the first day, concise, individual interviews with staff members will be conducted to determine and address areas of concern the staff might have with their responsibilities. The lunch hour is reserved for a meeting between the doctor and consultant. (Spouses are always welcome.)

The second day of the consultation is a custom-designed doctor, consultant and team workshop. The consultant will review evaluations, make recommendations based on the practice goals, and outline the necessary steps for immediate implementation. Tangible solutions will be provided for the practice concerns, priorities established, goals outlined, and completion dates defined for more involved objectives.
It is our goal to have the entire team motivated and ready to address the concerns unique to the practice. The on-site workshop is always conducted in a positive, motivating, open manner. Team members are encouraged to participate by asking questions and sharing ideas and suggestions. When the entire team is involved in defining practice concerns, total implementation and maximum results can be achieved.
Each client receives a comprehensive report within fifteen working days of their consultation. Observations, recommendations and implementation steps will be thoroughly outlined including the blueprint for practice goals and dates of completion. This report will contain valuable information that the office can refer to for the life of the practice.
Monthly one-hour teleconferences are scheduled to reconnect with the doctor(s) and staff to evaluate the past month's success and to answer questions. We teach the team to become the doctor(s)' head cheerleaders. Throughout the year, we cheer them on as results take place.
Each month each client receives a review of their practice monitor and staff meeting report with a written summary of the progress to date.
